Eddie “Gonzo” Gilman (Ezra Miller) is starting a revolution in BEWARE THE GONZO. When the wild-eyed rebel journalist is ousted from his prep school’s newspaper by its ueber-popular editor Gavin Riley (Jesse McCartney), Gonzo decides to become the voice of the oppressed by starting an underground paper with the help from a beautiful outsider (Zoe Kravitz). Not afraid to question authority and infuriate the school’s principal and staff, they give a voice to all the misfits victimized by Gavin and the rest of in-crowd. But the more Gonzo uncovers about the injustices in his school, the more he learns that the truth comes with consequences in this fresh teen-angst comedy. The film, which is now in production and is being shot entirely in 3D, will be released on July 3, 2012. The film stars Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Rhys Ifans, Denis Leary, Campbell Scott, Irrfan Khan, Martin Sheen, and Sally Field. The film is directed by Marc Webb from a screenplay by James Vanderbilt and Alvin Sargent and Steve Kloves based on the Marvel Comic Book by Stan Lee and Steve Ditko. Laura Ziskin, Avi Arad, and Matt Tolmach are producing the Marvel Entertainment production for Columbia Pictures. The executive producers are Stan Lee, Kevin Feige, and Michael Grillo. (

Phoebe longs to be in the school production of Alice in Wonderland. After her peculiar drama teacher Miss Dodger casts her, Phoebe struggles to control her behavior so her Principal will allow her to continue being in the play. As Phoebe’s stress mounts, her behavior grows worse, creating intense pressure on her parents Hillary and Peter. Hillary, who already feels a failure in both her personal and professional life, desperately tries to understand and help her daughter. But this connection proves elusive as Phoebe begins retreating to an imaginary fantasy world peopled by characters from Alice in Wonderland, a world which grows increasingly disturbing and treacherous. As Alice observes to the Caterpillar, “It is very confusing being so many different sizes in a day,” and in the end both Hillary and Phoebe (under Miss Dodger’s tutelage) must try to navigate the strange, painful, exhilarating transformation from chrysalis to butterfly.
