I recommend Linode.com if you’re not apposed to managing your own server. I switched from site5.com shared plan to that and I now have my own VPS (virtual private server) that runs both of my blogs.

Not sure if that’s something you’re keen to do though…but it’s definitely worth it…and it’s cost efficient (20 bucks a month vs hundreds for dedicated server).

Also, keep in mind that when google was having trouble with cyber attacks via China earlier this year, they chose Linode.com to bail them out during their investigation (it’s quick, easy, and gives you full control of the server…right up google’s alley). http://blog.linode.com/2010/01/15/linode-and-the-google-cyber-attacks/
